Earning Yield

All perpetual bonds accumulate yield automatically and perpetually. OPB are issued as SPL-Tokens with Solana's Token22 Interest Bearing Token Extension. This means that the yield is programmed into the Solana blockchain. OpenDelta adjustes the yield on a daily basis in accordance of the performance of the derivative position backing the bond.

Note:

  • Interest is compounded every second.

  • The interest rate can be 0 for certain periods.
