# Technological and Security Risks

The software and smart contracts used in connection with the index tokens, index basket assets, OpenDelta Index Protocol, as well as the foundational logic of the blockchain networks on which they operate, may contain weaknesses, flaws, bugs, vulnerabilities, defects, or other impairments. Such issues may cause them to function improperly or unpredictably, potentially resulting in the partial or total loss of assets involved in a transaction, disruptions to operations, or other adverse consequences. Furthermore, intruders may exploit certain bugs, flaws in logic, and other vulnerabilities in software and smart-contracts used in connection with the index tokens, index basket assets and/or OpenDelta Index Protocol, potentially causing financial losses, data breaches, or system malfunctions. Blockchain networks can be attacked which may result in downtime, consensus split, long reorganisation of the chain, 51% attack or other adverse outcomes. There is no warranty that there will be no theft or loss of assets due to attacks, hacks, software flaws, or blockchain vulnerabilities.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.opendelta.com/risks/technological-and-security-risks.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
